The theoretical and numerical studies on the construction of extended models to investigate the microscopic effects on the macroscopic phenomena of plasmas described by magnetohydrodynamics and the analyses of equilibria, waves and instabilities based on such models are supervised. The acquirement of the general methods of mathematical and numerical analyses to tackle on various problems in natural sciences is targeted.
