Ph.D. student will perform physics and engineering design study of quasi-axisymmetric stellarator CFQS with us. At present, national institute for fusion science (NIFS) in Japan and southwest jiaotong university (SWJTU) in China are constructing the quasi-axisymmetric stellarator CFQS under an international joint project. In the future, we will conduct experiments to study confinement property of quasi-axisymmetric configuration, and to confirm good MHD stability. Research topicsW are, planning to experimental scenario, and considering control method of the magnetic field configuration with toroidal field coil and poloidal field coil.
