Research on structural design of a helical fusion reactor is conducted. Guidance on design methods for superconducting magnets that are exposed to huge electromagnetic forces are provided. Detailed structural analysis by multi-scale analysis from single superconductor to whole structure is conducted along with search for new geometries by using topology optimization method.
