Teaching content

Guidance of physics and engineering research related to large-scaled negative ion source applied for fusion plasma heating. The research subjects are followings:
(1) Production of positive-negative ion plasma and particle dynamics in negative ion source.
(2) Shielding characteristics in positive-negative ion plasma.
(3) Extraction mechanism of negative ion beam and development of new beam diagnostic.
(4) Recycling and surface reaction of alkali atoms in negative ion source.
(5) Development of high performance negative ion source in the next generation.
