Research topic is heat load mitigation in divertor plasma by plasma detachment phenomena. Langmuir probe and infrared thermography are conducted for heat load measurements in the Large Helical Device and linear plasma devices. Influence of neutral particle behavior on momentum and energy loss processes is studied.
