3. An evaluation of free-surface flow of liquid metal
Instructors
Dr. Yukinori Hamaji
Applications of liquid metals as plasma-facing components in magnetic confinement fusion reactors has attracted attentions from the viewpoint of heat load removal and in-vessel particle control. In this course, surface measurements of liquid metal free-surface flow will be performed using lasers and probes. The results are compared with calculations using fluid dynamics.
