In nuclear fusion plasma composed of enormous numbers of charged particles, the heat and particle confinement are strongly influenced by the orbit of the charged particles due to the low collisionality. In this topic, we will experience a drift kinetic simulation to analyze the heat and particle transport by the orbit effect and the Coulomb collision between the charged particles. We also learn the fundamentals of the Monte Carlo method.
