Heavy Ion Beam Probe (HIBP) allows us to measure the structure of potential in plasma.In order to understand the confinement performance and physics in plasma, it is necessary to know the potential profile, therefore HIBP is an important diagnostic tool.In this summer school,for the purpose of increasing the HIBP probe beam current and improving the signal strength,the beam transport line of negative gold ion beam will be upgraded, and its performance will be evaluated.
